I might have just as much gear for tomorrow’s Tri than I had for my full week of RAGBRAI. My list includes bike shorts, bike jersey, running shoes, 2 pair of socks (in case of rain), wetsuit, swim cap, goggles, clif bars, and Gu. I can see why not many people attempt triathlons, there’s so much damn stuff! I have an unpublished goal of finishing in 6:45…or 1:00 swim, 3:45 bike, and 2:00 run. Just like the sprint tri a couple months ago, I’ll be happy with just a finish. Man, the swim makes me nervous.
